I think there's something in the news to think about even if you don't own one of those bikes. This is why when you start the engine the pedal becomes softer or spongy. Mine effects pedal position at 2 different levels, not just soft brakes, but a failure of the ABS valve system. I was able to remove the vacuum line from the Brake Booster and I performed the definitive test. The problem was permanent. Air, of course, can't be compressed in a brake system, so the pedal will continue to feel spongy until you get it out. :mad: I'm on hold with BMW NA will know more later. Started having very soft pedalwent almost clear to the floor & took pumping to feel halfway safe to stop. After doing the pads and bleeding the entire brake system (including the RABS valve) TWICE, I still have a spongy brake pedal.
